    Lads, I'm going to Aintree on this day. Early thoughts and opinions please as I have a busy week so I'm doing some studying now before the golf hots up. Any fancies?? I think Finian's Rainbow looks opposable (as do others on Stick's thread) what price do you think I'll get about Cue Card? I think the 2.30 is the standout weak race on the card (of the graded races!) I might back Join Together again. Really hope Fingal Bay turns up I'd love to see him. Where's the bumper man Stick to give me a (probably much needed) winner in the last!!

    I am not sure if its weeks or months that I have been saying this George but MIDNIGHT MINX wins the bumper mate.
    In the Topham I will be very interested in DOUGLAS JULIAN. No weight to carry, still on an upward curve and yard running into very good form.

    <laugh> sorry mate I did actually know you fancied that Honeyball one - i'll blame it on the Easter sunday booze! Douglas Julian looks interesting as you say Sue Smith is almost worth backing blind right now
