    Nass, you think your team are ****? ****ing disgrace today. We desperately needed 3 points to have a chance of staying up and, we didn't even turn up. 3 ****ing nil and still going. And other results are going our way as well. Golden opportunity thrown away. A miserable evening ahead. See you in L2.

    Good old Numide at Chepstow - I think this is the first time Paddy Brennan's ridden him so here's hoping

    Really good horse is that one Catty, do you know if they are intending to take up the Dante entry?

    We have a habit of scoring in injury time Nass. Can't remember netting 5 though.

    4.45 Yarmouth: SAMBA KING 7/2 Dettori is on the favourite and "first string" but this one has posted a much better speed figure and now has the chance to put that to good use on better ground than it had last autumn. Barzalona is only here for two rides and with Frankie expected to have won on at least one earlier in the card, I think Mikael might be on the better of the two here and we can put that to good use by taking a very nice 7/2 price.

    <cracker>

    Have to look very closely at Barzalona Godolphin mounts this summer <ok>

    Frankie doesn't get the choice of his mounts so him riding doesn't necessarily mean that one's the first string.

    My word you all have to see Hatem Ben Arfa's goal on MOTD tonight. Not as good as his FA Cup one but what a crucial goal. Tottenham lose too, what a huge set of results. Need a favour from Fulham tonight now for the perfect set of results.

    Am pleased for connections of the Irish National winner, always nice to see a win for the little guy.

    Highly Likely 11/1 Warwick 5:40.

    John Dunlop doesnt have many handicappers running off marks in the 50s that don't progress, and this one might be able to grab a couple of wins this season on the way up the ranks. Yard do usually have them sharper after a run though, which is the concern.

    Really interesting money for my final pick of the day, Elsie, in the fairyhouse bumper. 20/1 with few firms when I mentioned her this morning/early afternoon (whenever I posted on page 2!) now best priced 12s and as low as 8s in places

    Money for Sword of Honour. Hugely interesting race coming up. If Don Cossack wins the hype will be justified.
