    Its going to look horrible - as if we havent enough tacky signs.

    But its free advertising for him, and he hardly cares what the fans think, so its not really a suprise.

    Granted we arnt making money from the advertising but if it makes more for SD then hopefully it can indirectly help NUFC. Also my point was that seeing what can be done may encourage outside investment to advertise in this way which would bring money into the club.
    OK it may not look as nice as you would like and may not have much tradition about it but getting in the money to HOPEFULLY improve the team is the priority, who cared what a ****tip the ground was in the past when we won the Fairs Cup. The Team is the priority.
    Ashley has made big mistakes and unpopular decisions but at the end of the day he owns the club so can advertise what he likes there. Bearing in mind the fact that we were heading for bankrupsy before he took over we can hardly complain about a few adverts however big and trashy they are. (We can complain about the poor decisions he makes and lack of striker signing of course tho, not that it seems to bother him).

    I'm not convinced. MA is using SJP as a billboard to benefit himself, not the club. If he was genuinely serious about raising funds for the club through advertising, then he would have got a proper sponsorship deal.

    That's my opinion anyway...
