there was a kid at school, his nickname was "Gorm"

It suited the big fat lumpen lugubrious fool..

Happy is somehow vaguely irritating.. it's a sort of "I'll accept anything that happens" mentality when the world throws **** at you, you grin and bear it with a smile and a laugh.. yet it feels hollow, inane, uncaring in a way..

    lol

I'm in the "I don't care what the name is" camp but sprinkled with "If Dr Allam says he has a plan and an idea to increase our income, he has my backing".

Disagree with me by all means, but resorting to what amounts to playground type name calling just makes you look like a childish ****.

Very strange how the ‘indifference’ you write of above doesn’t tally at all to your countless bitter postings towards the anti-name change cause since August.

Ah sorry, I need to spell some stuff for the hard of thinking. When I say I don't care, I mean the name is not important to me. All the bollocks around it, from CTWD yes, I do care about, because that is damaging our club.

I have no issue with anti name changers in general, but as I wouldn't trust CTWD to run a bath, let alone a club (or a share of it), and I distrust their real agenda and real aims, as well as not being impressed with their spin, yes, I will post counter to them. Call it bitter if you like, it isn't at all, but I know it makes you feel better. You don't like an opposing view, I get that, unfortunately you'll have to get used to it.

Opposing view? You just wrote that you were indifferent (didn't care) regarding the name change.

Well, if he does have a secret plan, he's kept it very quiet.

    Ergo, you don't know either.

But you'll carry on following him won't you in that pseudo-faith-based fashion? reminds me of that disaster movie, "The Poseidon Adventure" where the majority of passengers trudge in sheeplike formation to the wrong end of the ship.

I don't believe I've called you any names. "Happy" is the name you've given yourself. I disagree with you but by no means wish to be disrespectful to you personally.

I suppose my comments could be mis-interpreted, the analogy to "Gorm" is merely a lead-in.

I don't trust them. They are not being entirely honest. They twist anyone not in their camps words to suit their agenda. They are not, and haven't been for a long time a single issue group.

Tigercity - You follow CTWD blindly in a smaller sheeplike formation. At least the person I admire has done good, nay awesome stuff for the City of Hull as well as our football club. All CTWD is doing is manipulating noisy sheep whilst not telling them the whole truth. As Journey once sang, don't stop believing.

Dr Allam is under NO obligation to share his plans with you or any of us. He's a business man doing the best for the club, and himself & family, at the same time. Showing your cards to early could mean the difference between success and failure. The club is not a democratically run and owned by the people of the City of Hull entity. Emotionally of course we all have a buy in, but the cold hard reality is that is not, and has never been in the past, enough to keep it afloat. He knows that, I know that, CTWD try to ignore it by playing at "Sim Football Club Owner" with zero risk and zero clue of what is actually happening or needs to happen.

Leo, is this you: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/...self-facebook-michelle-chapman_n_4745550.html ?

it's such a great plan. he's turned a £30mill debt into a £100mill debt, he's made himself and the club into an international laughing stock, he's turned the fans against each other, he's threatening the fans, the FA, the Counsel - wow what a plan, can't wait for the money to start rolling in - unfortunately he's made himself totally unbankable, not the fans, he has - and yet you still wait for his masterstroke following him blindly just like one of the rats following the pied piper

I don't think Happy Tiger has a clue what he is opposed to. He is just a Premier League plastic who will **** off when we get relegated

Through his actions he has also got the team into the best league in the world whereas not long ago they were on the brink of extinction.

While CTWD plan is to have a bit bigger shop and then invite millionaires from around the world to plunge millions into the club just for the honour of being associated with hull city. That's not pie in the ****ing sky is it.

It's very possible that our team will be relegated this season, then where will we be financially?

So you agree then that the CTWD committee couldn't run a football club and neither can Assem Allam.

That's a bit naiive though isn't it? There's nothing to suggest his 'plan' will work. All the evidence suggests the complete opposite. He's already admitted his idea was based on reading the first page of an article in the Harvard Business Review which was on a completely different subject and didn't even find the conclusion he thought it did. I don't understand how you can put so much faith in the mad sod.

You'll deny it, but it's abundantly clear that if someone else has suggested this; if it was a fan proposal put forward to Allam rather than vice versa you'd be taking the piss.

Difference there is charon-the-ferryman's post was accurate in describing exactly what Allam has done.

You've just made some **** up to try and take the piss because you don't like CTWD. You know full well CTWD have offered realistic business proposals to Allam involving talking to the council and doing what he thought was a good idea before his meltdown, but the only stopping that happening is him.

Not made anything up. Exiled is the CTWD campaigner who is driving the supporters trust issue, he's the one who did the presentation to the FA. Dont accuse me of making it up because I haven't. He's talked to the CTWD committe about that. That is what they want to do. Olm has said if the name change gets turned down then they will go to Allam with their proposals, so no they haven't done it yet.

There are business ideas in our submission to the FA and we've written to AA offering to meet him again on more than one occasion, but none of the letters were responded to. Exiled was not present at the FA presentation, that bit you've definitely made up.
