... and Comm is spot on ... I enjoy writing and even winding people up ... but I've seen my team win the EPL title ... what have I got to be wound up about? ... over 50 years supporting a team where real expectation was confined to a good cup run ... I tend to smirk quite a bit ... it's very easy to wind up the usual suspects ... the ones that took us winning the title sooooooooooooo badly

Ironically the thread was started by his sock account who aimed it at others whilst systematically shooting himself in the foot on every page. It’s patently clear the OP won his own thread with all the aplomb of a one-legged sniper with a peg leg.

 

So we have a sniper, a one legged sniper who has a peg leg (I'm going to assume the peg leg is attached to the missing leg here). The sniper is accused of lacking self assurance due to his condition. Now a sniper would generally but not exclusively fire from the prone position but if not it would at least be from a supported position therefore his condition would have very little impact on his trade.
