So Derry gives up a chance to play in the Premiership and the increase in wages. Can't see it myself.
Interesting as that would be, I see Bullard playing further upfield. I don't think his reading of the game is as good as Derry's, which is what made him so influential for us last season.
Totally agree, Bullard is a creative player, where Derry is more of a stopper. Which in itself is worrying, if Derry were to leave, I don't think we have anyone who could fill that role.
