That's it I'm warning you. Whoever praises Souness's tenure will be punished

I blame the board for hiring him, when he was about to be sacked at Blackburn.

Definetly. Was shocked when we appointed him. I mean, we were a team who was expected to challenge for the Champions League that season and we appoint Souness <yikes>

Sporting Lisbon (a) - we'd won the home leg 1-0, Dyer scored that backheel early on in the away leg giving us 2-0 agg lead with the away goal, meaning Sporting needed to win at least 3-1 on the night. The ****ers ended up beating us 4-1, 4-2 on agg, I couldn't believe it! How did we throw away such a strong position

    Dear Jermaine

When you first returned to St James with the Spuds and went round the Newcastle goalkeeper at the Gallowgate end and then fell over kicking the ball wide......did you feel everyone was watching you?

Actually you're wrong, his back heel was in a 4-0 home defeat of Olympiakos. It was incredible, this was an Olympiakos side who were a Steven Gerrard wonder goal away from going through to the last 16 of the Champions League, and we demolished them 7-1 over two legs....

Yeah, but he did one vs AZ Alkmaar too. Or it might have been Olympiakos. A team we slaughtered at St James'

Yea even though we finished 14th that season we were ****ing awesome in Europe and the FA Cup.

Sporting Lisbon away one of the games that brought me close to tears though , looked impossible to throw away after going a goal up there...

Had we progressed I think we would have won it , most of the big boys were out.
