I don't mind which way the do it I honestly don't even care if things don't improve. It's the fact they are trying and making an effort that's all I'm bothered about.

The sad part is that we saw early criticism from fans and that was quite clear in January. The fans are going to go after then and moan as usual and in time they'll end up expecting more and more and more.

There's thankfully going to be a few that don't

Exactly, safe by Christmas and maybe still in the cups but more importantly enjoy the 2nd half of the season and not sweating over every result for months.

Mid table is really dull for the last 3 months, but yeah our cortisol levels will drop and we'll feel better.

<laugh> fs you don't much considering we've been hovering around bottom 5 for years,10th or 12th for a couple of seasons to steady the ship and a bonus if we can push for Europe.

Wholesale changes are never a good idea. I think a top notch (not injury prone) CF is top priority then a CB.

Absolutely. And they did the ground work with some very astute signings of a mixed range.

Trippier class who has pulling power.
Burn a solid cb. Local lad.
Bruno X factor and another who can pull players.
Taggart a good solid right back and exactly what we needed.
Wood has contributed and should be deemed a success albeit he hasn’t scored many.

Interesting stat for you. There has only been 3 games since Howe started that Shelvey had missed. In all 3 we lost and didn’t score.

Would be like Everton getting Jamez this.

An absolutely top signing but no doubt in my mind all the top clubs in Europe will be after him.
