None taken - and we have to pay £9 a game for it. Still, I wouldn't be anywhere else on a Saturday.
And I reckon if he'd had as many minutes on the pitch for you as Danny Graham, he'd have scored a few more goals - and what did he cost?![]()

Unless he's loaned back to his old club straight away or doesn't get out on loan to a lower/non league club in the not too distant future, I think it will very difficult to progress from the development squad to the first team. The gap is to great without experiencing proper first team games elsewhere that mean something first.
Looking at those clips i dont think loaning him back to them will help his development!! But i agree he needs to go out ASAP we dont want another Danny Emerton
Worth trying to get Ferriby to take him on? Or maybe even someone at Grimsby's level? I don't mind if he has one year in the development squad but anymore and his development will halt.
Thanks for the updateJohan played his first game for your under 21 side tonight - and scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Sunderland. So sounds like a promising start.
Hope you're not wearing him out too much - he's got to play for us in hopefully two play-off games next week.
BTW, he's scored for us in six out of our last eight games.

On a similar note Harry Cardwell has just scored again for Reading under-18s. We got £75,000 for him but that may be nothing if he keeps improving. We need to improve our academy status soon.
Bugger...
