Absolutely, he has left nothing on the pitch for any team he has played for, a real pro. Good luck with this, and at worst enjoy your retirement Dunno.
What on earth was all that last season where after every game everyone seemed to be calling for Dunne to be dropped for Onuoha? I like big Ned but I still don't know what exactly people saw in him that was so great.
Shame about Ned as he is better at centre back than full back. Even bigger shame about Dunne, he's surprised many by going so long and, he's put in the performances to show he cares. Hill & Caulker in the middle, Donaldson as back up. Isla & Yun first choice full backs with Ehmer as back up.
Nuts and me not only heard that challenge when it happened but we also felt the shock wave and we were way up in the second back row in F block in SAR!!! Probably the last time we will have seen RD in a Rangers shirt and I hope he gets the respect he deserves when people discuss his tenure in a QPR shirt. A proper professional, always gave 100% and in some of our most important games he was an absolute beast. If your time IS over RD, then thank you very much indeed, you are a credit to your profession when so many others have come here and taken the biscuit.
Richard Dunne goes down along with Ryan Nelsen as the best centrebacks this club has had in recent times. Both came with zero expectations and delivered so much more than what was expected. Even if it is the last time we've seen Dunne in a R's shirt he will be remembered.
I was very much anti when Dunne was signed, but he won me over. He should always be remembered for his heroic performance at Wembley.
Ned finished last season brilliantly I thought - doing a Dunne if you will. They were a good partnership so not sure why anyone wanted to split that but I do have a lot of time for Onuoha.
I often thought Harry chose Dunne over Hill when Hill was actually the one in form. Hill is cursed by having a left foot and has been forced to play a position which he simply isn't suited to LB. I think he's a great CB, though. I don't care what anyone says.
Good luck Richard. A fantastic pro and he was having a very good season. Immense yesterday before he went off.
Although not the most popular signing I think a bit like Hill that he's more than proved himself, shame that at his age will be difficult to come back so may have played his last game for QPR so thanks for the effort/performances that have put in.
A real loss in my opinion....Dunne always played with a confidence even if the team didn't. He commanded the box. Ned and Caulker are out of salts. I will remember Dunno for that magnificent Wembley performance and for the number of times we wrote him off. Thank you Dunno. The biggest loss of the weekend
He could well be back as our CB in the Championship next year.. No need to thank him finally just yet.
thats the line up for me for tuesday i think - those two full backs should have started on saturday as well. henry back in as well maybe with sandro (if he's fit) to protect the back 4. fer in middle and perhaps tarbs and hoilett on either side in sort of a diamond formation(was adel any good saturday?) vargas up front. so whaddya reckon.....rubbish?
