Please noooooooo. When are we ever going to learn. Another 30++ has been. Jesus TF, get a grip!!! This transfer policy is not working for us, surely a man with his intelligence can see that.
Don't people get it. I don't care how old he is. We need leaders and some moral fibre on the pitch. Someone who always gives his all never gives up. An example to others. Good signing yes please.
Yep IMO, Ferdinand has to go. I'd also like us to buy two CBs. One older experienced CB on no more than a two year contract and one younger CB with potential. That way allowing for injuries, suspensions etc we would have two experienced CBs ( including Hill) and two younger CBs learning the trade (including Onouha)
Agree. Thats a sensible aim to have I think. We cannot have either Ferdinand or Ben Haim involved next season. Neither are good enough.
I've always thought the own-goal king was pony, even when he was younger and fitter. Hate to think of him in the hoops.
I like him but that's not the problem we need to win matches ... i would think about rush keepers we need to win matches asap and get a winning mentality not pretend to be clever with Harold's style of football. We need to worry the **** out of teams ... and who would do that best? ... adel taarabt ... more space and then maybe the likes of these old dinosaurs could even raise their own games and start playing
Should just kept Gabbidon, Gorkss, Connolly, ****tu, Tommy Smith, Helguson, Ramage, Delaney etc. Nigel Reo-Coker who I watch over here (TV) playing for Vancouver Whitecaps, would be great at this level, likewise a finisher like Earnshaw (playing for Nelsen's TFC) We would have the foundation of a half decent Championship squad.
Would be great to have another Irishman in hoops. Great leader, experienced, no bull-sh1t and rock solid. The injuries would concern me.
Instead of running out to the tune of pigbag, they may as well just play the tune to Dads Army. All together now, so who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler.........
Really beginning to despair for our Club when I read we want to buy more has been old sweats like Dunne and Parker, yet want to be quit two of the few players who have top skills at our Club, Adel and Bos, because supporters don't think they grunt enough. We'll have a team next season that will be full of over aged, underskilled work horses that will take us to League 2 at maximumum speed. Haven't we learned yet that buying has beens or never were's like Park, Zamora, Johnson, Parker and Dunne don't work.
I was listening to an Irish radio sports show tonight (Newstalk) and they give the subject of Richard Dunne's impending new club a good 15 minutes. A journalist from the Irish Independent newspaper said his choices were to go to, 1. USA, but he felt he could continue to play at a higher lever, 2. Doncaster Rovers, some new Irish consortium have taken over there and they want Dunne, Shay Given and Stephen Ireland to sign for them. The reporter said Dunne would be mad to go there as there is no way they will be challenging for promotion and lastly 3. QPR , this would be his best option as it represented Dunne's best chance of getting back to the Premiership quickly. The reporter also said he believed the deal about to be agreed included a pay as you play clause but financially, it was a good deal for Dunne.
If this is a pay as you play deal it will be a good bit of business, he's got vast experience and will be the right 'character' for central defence. As others point out we were underwhelmed when Nelsen signed but he was the quiet hero of the team last season...
