Could be another Bobby Kerr though and lift the FA cup in a year or two, still has plenty of time fingers crossed, could have wished for better opponents in his first game mind you, bit of history in this one and its not good as far as we are concerned.

I'd move Gooch into central midfield and play Watmore on the wing personally.

Just don't really rate Honeyman in all honesty.

Like that idea, we have a lot more options up front than we have at the back thats for sure. But we have a manager who I trust to make the most of whats available. Can't please all of the people, all the time of course, but he has done well so far. <ok>

This foggy fixture in Middlesbrough? Dunc's only just got his legs fixed, we don't want his lungs knackered...!

Great news. Don't need to worry who he replaces. He's got a good month or so of bench sitting while he conditions to the seniors physicality. Great option to bring on for Gooch, Maguire or Maja when legs get tired.

He’s class personified, Ian. Just a pity some of the idiots who claim to support SAFC have got on his back if Duncan’s had a poor game!! His responses are awesome mind

i was at the game last night. Watmore still has a way to go before he is ready for the first team. Who was our number 7 last night? I liked the look of him for the hour he was on the pitch. Man of the match was the Boro number 11. A dirty git, but strong, fast and a real handful all night..

Attacking player on the wide right? If so he's a 20 year old trialist from Basingstoke called Sam Smart, sounds like he caught a few peoples eye.

How was Watmore, I'm guessing tentative and rusty but did he look like his pace was still there?
