How was Watmore, I'm guessing tentative and rusty but did he look like his pace was still there?
He started well and looked really sharp. However, I think his penalty miss knocked his confidence a bit and drifted out of the game for long periods after that..

That's probably as good as you could hope for, if he's still capable of looking sharp then it should just be a matter of time before he's back to the old Watmore. In his case you'd imagine it'd take a while because he's had a hell of a time of it mentally and physically. Tough lad though.

Glad we're looking at players at that level. There's good mine of players there, many of whom will feel they have something to prove having been let go by pro clubs.
