dumb and dumber?

It actually says I was an idiot. however written ambiguously I admit. It was to highlight general posts along the lines of "this is my view and everyone else's is not valid". Think your thread started just like that. Not against debate, but dead against cronyism and deliberate provocation.
Ok I misunderstood. I didn't mean to say others' views are not valid but I came on here and was dismayed to see lots of negative posts and wanted to quickly get a dissenting view in, so sorry if I was insensitive in doing that.

If you read my whole article you will see the reason why I feel the "negheads" are being totally over pessimistic in their viewpoint. I gave a balanced account of the match as I saw it, both positive and negative, it wasn't the result that was desired, but the opponents must be taken into account. It can be argued that we were worth at least a point but we are in the top league now and mistakes will be punished. It is very likely that the new signings will be involved against Arsenal and we might get a better idea of what our strongest team might be. I stand by my view that if we can put in that level of performance week in week out then we will win quite a few games this season.

Saints Alive I've read your opening thread and fair points all. It was balanced. My "moan" wasn't directed there at all - I may disagree with its title ;-)

It just gets my goat this forum quickly degenerates. I find the over positive often overbearing, the most moaning comments tend to be by that camp; pre-emptive posting of derogatory or inflammatory remarks before anyone from the negative side posts.

It's all pretty futile in the end. The bottom line is, we are all miffed we didn't get anything from today's game.
