Far too early to be writing anyone off, there's still the Jan window to come, we've only played just over a quarter of the season and there'll be many twists and turns between now and the end of the season.
Sounded on the radio like they had a fair amount of possession and couldn't do anything with it, that sounds familiar
Nah, we create chances galore in our games. They had next to nothing (apart from the obvious penalty miss). Although, like you, i'm only going by the radio. Couldn't get to the game.
Oh no i agree, we've always created the chances, just this season we are actually putting some away without letting in too many
Waggy missed a difficult chance from a brilliant Ritchie De Laet run and cross Nugent made their keeper make a good save Knockaert tested him from 20 yards Marshall had a shot comfortably saved Thata about it 1 thing I will say about last night is what a complete twat their bald centre half was. Adam El Abd. Constantly fouling our players, at 1 point Knockaert turned him completely inside out and put him on his arse so he grabbed his ankles. He kept shoving all our players whenever he got near one and started on Jamie Vardy towards the end. He is a **** player and a dirty bastard aswell
Personally, I think, the main reason you are at the top Is Knockaert. I think without him, you wouldn't have found it so easy to win games and ultimately be at the top of the table.
Yep he has been a big part of the change, although last night he didn't have a good game according to the radio. Think we do need the striker that will put away chances, especially as Waggy seems to be the first backup, and hes off form. Out of interest, would we want a player that will score more chances and be lazier (Yakubu-esque) or do we stick with people that will do more legwork and create more chances?
.. personally I think we are playing as a team allowing some of the component parts to really come through and express themselves .. Morgan, Knockaert and Drinkwater seeem to get better and better .. and Andy King is again looking like the player he was a couple of seasons ago (arguably the best finisher at the club) ...
