I just thought I'd venture briefly on to the Dull forum and I was shocked more than I usually am with their arrogance regarding our club and NP. They have a thread called 'the fickle wheel of fortune' and they really are convinced they're gonna stuff us this weekend and it will be Nigel's demise. Cue dozens of six fingered, webbed footed Hull..er Dull fans on here now I think personally here getting their ambitions mixed up with their capabilities and I can't wait till the match at the weekend. A nice little 1-0 will do me
Who cares about a club that has never won anything or played European football competitively?? It is why I have more respect for Derby and Forest due to these reasons tbh
The second half of the Man City- Real Madrid game was anything but Dull. Fantasic advert for football
Same here. This is classed as a major successful spell for them and their inexperienced supporters. Leave them alone bless em!!!
Sven. If you re-read the post you're referring to above, I think you'll find as many Hull fans supporting NP as calling him. Most people thank him for putting us back on an even keel but we need to move on. Bruce started today with just two of Nigel's regular 11, he clearly has
The OP is talking rubbish. Most of the thread is discussing Pearson's time with us with a few posts supporting him. So just to let the OP have something real to moan about (instead of figments of a paranoid mind) An easy 5-1 to the tigers on Sunday. (Should be a good game, it could go either way. Quality in both sides.)
The League Cup? Behave yourselves. No one has ever cared about that old piece of ****e. Deluded mugs.
We haven't played anyone worth fearing yet, despite having played the top two. Don't see you lot being any different.
Always thought you support your Home City / Town team no matter what the club may have or have not won in the past. I was born in Hull , brought up in Hull and all family still live in Hull. Thats why I support Hull City and would do even IF they where a non league club.. I don't envy any other club no matter what they have won.. Leicester City haven't won much but those born in Leicester support them no matter what or they should do. The fact that Hull have spent years in div 4 and div 3 and won next to nothing matters not . The last 10 years have been good times ... About bloody time as well !
We have had quite a tough start. Brighton , Blackburn , Bolton , Charlton and Leeds in our first 6 games . All fancied to do well and next up a tough game away at Leicester .
I envy all the clubs that have had Bolton early on as I think they'll get better, though like most of this league, they're doing OK at home but crap away. For similar reasons, I think your result tonight was your best so far, but I don't see Millwall, Charlton, Brighton and Leeds being anywhere near the play-off places. I would say you've had only really had one tough fixture and lost it. We've had at three tough games, won one and lost two - narrowly. Have to say though, the Charlton defeat is looking a bit bad now...
