As anyone played the F1 game? I'm very impressed, awesome game

Just a couple of q's re DRS

1, As far as i was aware you can use DRS at ANY point during qualifying but im sure i was trying to qualify in the game and it wouldnt let me use it, any restrictions in qulifying?

2, DRS can also be used in designated areas in the race if you are within 1 sec of the car in front. Now I had a car behind me and it let me use DRS? It is only meant for the chasing car and not the car in front isnt it? All i could think of was that within the detection zone i was behind someone and then when we got into the activation zone i'd took him but it let me deploy DRS? I cant remember over taking him

If anyone is remotely interested in F1 I would definitely recommend this game

Thanks in advance

Whilst I don't have the game, DRS can only be used in dry conditions, if it was a wet qualifying session it may not be available. With the in-race activation, if you'd been behind any driver (even a backmarker) when you crossed the detection line, you can use it, even if there is nobody in front of you by the time you reach activation.

The game let's you use DRS in any weather condition, as long as you have slick tyres on. DRS is disabled if you use inters or wets. Bit of a fail by Codemasters.

Schneiderlin is the goal king - Haha. How hard is the Monaco track! No room for error there mate, I like a bit of room to get my car around those corners but at Monaco, no room at all

DHCanary - It was the British Grand Prix and raining (figures!) so that will be it mate, cheers

Thanks for your replies fellas
