Chelsea beating Hull 2-0. It's been the perfect weekend for us. Oh, and I've just thumped Cardiff 12-0 on FIFA17
Next round of games (midweek): Tottenham to win at Sunderland Hull to lose at Man Utd Palace - maybe a point at Bournemouth? Boro - a point at home to WBA? Burnley to beat Leicester? We could do so much to improve our position with a win against Southampton...
What yesterday has now done, as previous years under Laudrup, Rodgers and Monk shown, is we can now beat ANYBODY at our best, especially at the Liberty. Confidence will be sky high against Southampton and even more important given that we've been knocked out of the cup, it gives Clement 8-10 to prepare the squad fully for the Southampton game.
Just realised - we've actually won 2 of our last 3 games in the PL ! Away to Palace and away to Liverpool.
Definitely. Home ties against teams outside the top 6 are games we have to be winning if we want to stay up.
I notice that Llorente and Carroll made Garth Crook's team of the week http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38711481
Didn't realise things were so bad this time last year, only 4pts difference. Feels like it should be so much more, its been such a grind so far I'm tuckered out already.
I think what has made things seem so much more awful, is the manner of our defeats, and the collapse of our game under 'Yankee Bob', having Clement is like having Diego Simeone, after Bob!...............
Lovely. Whereas we'll be flying by the time we get our hard games out of the way. I'm 100% certain we'll stay up under Clement if we sign a new CB.
