It's been reported that three clubs in China are interested in signing Drogba. Apparently Chinese super club Guangzhou are preparing to pay Drogba £400k per week which would make Drogba the highest paid footballer on the planet. If that's a true figure and they're as rich as they say they are then Guangzhou should pay us at least £20m for Drogba which is unlikely. But Drogba prefers to stay at Stamford Bridge if Chelsea offer him a suitable contract which is a 2 year deal.

Agreed Drogba only warrants a 1-year-deal at best especially as he's the wrong side of thirty now.

Hope he takes the china deal, Drog will always be a legend and better to go now as his getting on a bit and it will give us one less big ego in the dressing room for AVB to have to contend with

Hear hear. Time to go.

Agree with SW6 <ok>

Cheers for everything Drogs, one of the best strikers I've ever seen <ok>.

Take the £400,000 Drogs, and thanks for all the fabulous years you gave us.
Knowing his charity work, he'll give most of it to the poor in his country anyway. Sometimes you use your talent as best you can.
