So you're far safer driving pissed and fast, particularly in accident black spots so you're in them for less time.

 

Is there an estimate of how many are caused by the use of a mobile?

 

It's ****ing ridiculous to think that people allow themselves to be distracted by a mobile. They should leave them hanging over the bairns cot.

 

Wow. Im betting there are far more people speeding than there are drink drivers (im guessing 100x more per trip) which would mean you are far more likely to get in an accident drink driving than speeding!

 

100% of accidents are caused by bad driving

 

What about if something flies onto the windscreen and obscures your view?

 

That's another thing that should be clamped down on.

 

You should be driving to the road conditions, so you will be able to stop safely

Had seven pints then drove home last night. I was perfectly fine. Wife was fuming though when I got in. She'd watched the news and some nutjob had drive the wrong way wildly down the motorway I'd just driven home on. I told her "one nutjob? You're having a laugh, there were hundreds of them going the wrong way, all coming at me!"
