Don't believe anything anyone tells you about AA meetings. They're really one giant piss-up.

They tell you how to fix your car at the roadside. I wouldn't bother in your case.

If you do have a drink problem and you don't do anything about it, chances are you'll be seeing a bit more of the courts in the future. It that case it'll probably go better for you if they think you're trying to stay sober.

If you're worried about your drinking, think you may have a problem, or are just unsure, AA is the best place to find out more. No-one bites, no-one will judge you, and you may be pleasantly surprised by what you find there - basically just ex problem drinkers who have found a solution to their common problem.

Don't listen to all the academics on here. Chances are you don't have more of a drink problem than the average guy of your age. Go out and have afew drinks if you want. Just don't drive.

Yes. For anyone else thinking about driving whilst under the influence, just consider how difficult and how expensive it was to get your licence in the first place.

    Just get a taxi home.

Why would you post this ... to get abuse?

    You're obviously a ****.

    You've either:

Made this up looking for a reaction
    Or
Are an actual **** who goes out driving whilst 3 times over the legal limit

If true, I hope you do it again and kill yourself by smashing into a tree... no others injured - just you!

I've not knowingly been drunk and driven for about 10 years.

I fell out with her one night and jumped in the car and attempted to drive home, I was seriously bladdered at the time. I got about 2 miles, shat it, then drove back to her.

I bitterly regretted it in the morning though, and vowed not to do it again. I've probably been over the limit a few times in the morning though.

The irony is that the real Johnny Rep died in a car accident after a head-on collision with a drunk driver.

Just a wee side note, a girl I went to uni with, after a Christmas night out, drove along Gt Western Road in Glasgow heading to Alexandria after drinking in excess of 3 bottles of wine. She had had 2 before I left, promised she wouldn't drive. Anyway, 3 or 4 hours later, her husband phoned me, asking if we had gone on somewhere else after the pub. I explained I had left early evening, so didn't know where she was.

The daft bastard was in Maryhill police station after being caught drunk driving. She lost her license, was done for assaulting 2 police officers also but that was the least of her worries. She's now a qualified teacher and has to disclose at every interview she's been done for drink driving - the stain will stay with her for the rest of her career.

The last time I spoke to her, she was teaching, but only in a temp position as no one would entertain her permanently full time because of her 'record'.

    Stupid bastard.

Ah, fat jokes... the retort of the imbecile!

Speak to a lawyer - he'd be best placed to tell a stupid **** like you what you should expect for being a ****.

    A lawyer's advice on a legal matter

    OR

Not606'S advice on a legal matter

    Not hard is it!
