Dr Who

I presume IVF m8
But the Doctor was a He when he had the kid not a She so obviously his sperm count wasn't an issue.

There have been female Timelords (Timeladies?) before but the current producers are more keen on diversity than any sense of logic or adherence to previous character history/origins.

The fact that they have conveniently ignored the previous restrictions on the amount of times a Doctor can regenerate shows anything is possible.

Not sure why I give a flying f.uck as the last time I watched Dr Who with any regularity was when he was played by Tom Baker. Although I do recall a sidekick with fantastic tay-tays.......

The character regenerates every time. Doesn't matter if he used to be a bloke, they're not re-writing all the past scripts ffs <doh>

You pathetic 'PC-gone-mad' spastics need to get out more <doh>

I think we traditionalist pathetic PC gone mad spastics believe that it will probably be **** , there are almost no funny women actors for a start and that's a big part of his character.
Unless they cast Cathy Burke.
As Nicky suggested The redo of Ghost busters with all female leads bombed at the box office and killed the franchise .

So it doesn't matter if it's total **** and a woman should be cast as Dr Who because of equality?

Why do you think it's because of 'equality'?

The show is flopping, and thanks to changing the character and making him a woman they've got grown men gurning about it on a football forum. Think it worked.

Just like the Guardian articles you lot get so wound up about. They publish them for clicks and attention from the 'PC-gone-mad' lot.

My main question is: Who gives a ****? How does Dr Who's gender affect you personally?

Some people enjoy Dr Who I like Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and would be mortified if they cast Will and Carlton as Chinese people.

If the Guardian purposely posts ridiculous feminist and white privilege articles as click bait to attract idiots like me then that would explain why they run at a massive loss and have to beg the readers for donations.
If the BBC will happily destroy one of their most poular series just to make men gurn then that doesn't seem like a very clever marketing ploy either.
