I thought @Pure River Slut point was that the main propaganda bus message was to keep £350m a week out of The Robbing Brussels Bureaucrats foreign hands, to be used to fund the NHS. This nurtured a subliminal anti foreign stance coupled with the Government reassurances to the South East shires that we would get tough on the foreign boat refugees. I watched loads of American MP's on channel 4 last night saying Joe Biden needs to follow his lead over the Russian invasion of Ukraine. They were both Democrats and Republicans.
