It's not perfect and no-one, on here, ever said it was ... ... this country is worse off since Brexit, so is the EU. It was supposed to mean we'd 'control our borders'. Instead there are more legal immigrants than before.

An analogy is that petrol is 10p cheaper in Plymouth so I drive 400 miles there and 400 miles back to "save" 10p and just ignore the £200 petrol costs it entails to get it

Immigration is needed for lots of things. We need to import foreign nurses because we don't produce enough here. Sadly 10,000 a year trained and qualified then go abroad, to places like Australia where they can double their wages. If we stopped all Immigration the country would literally collapse.
