No idea mate. I have no great insight or solutions. I just know politicians arent the answer, nor are they helping. Tories and Labour are in a battle to be seen as the ones to cut it most. I dont even know why cutting it most is best. Just wish someone, at the top of a political party, could show a bit of humanity in all of this. Not just in this country, but across the richer world to be honest. We are no better or worse than others in our rhetoric. Well we are better than Trump and his wall but that is such a low bar.

Most refugees don't come to the UK, many stay in Italy, Germany, France, etc. Those who do come are fed lies by the traffickers about where they can be safe ... ... squeezing more money out of them, for the Channel crossing is simply maximising a profit opportunity.

Happy to pay my share. Not to pay more than my share to cover for people who have never paid in all their lives through choice, or for an incompetent government to waste or steal it.
