If the police look at this party and deem them guilty , rather than a fine ( which they’ll find meaningless) , I would rather see them suffer the “ discomfort’ guilt and embarrassment of being made to go to houses of people who were kept from dying loved ones , to look them in the eye and try to explain and justify.
I said first thing this morning to my wife the minimum all 30 of them should be going to court and getting 12 months in prison, maybe then it would start to dawn on MPs and their hangers on they are nobody special in fact it might sink in they are morons who deserve a bigger punishment than your average Joe public.
Being tipped by Rees Mogg doesn't count for a lot. Tobias Ellwood Says Boris Johnson Has “More Chance Of Becoming A Bond Villain” Than NATO Chief
Tim Martin, Wetherspoons, during his backing for Boris Johnson during the Brexit campaign ... ... "Mr Martin pledged to slash the price of booze in his pubs to an “unbelievably low” price if ex-PM Boris Johnson managed to leave the European Union." Tim Martin, Wetherspoons, today ... "Tim Martin, told Andrew Marr that pints will "quite probably" go up to £8 and when asked if they could one day cost a tenner, said "There's no limit."
I'm not that good at English, but couldn't these two comments be concurrent (not mutually exclusive...)
There was never a chance he'd slash the price of a pint if Brexit happened ... ... it was just a bribe because he was desperate for it to happen. And people swallowed it
Here's one for the Boris fan club ... ... now officially the most humiliated PM in history. Liz Truss must be laughing her tits off Boris Johnson denied special access to parliament as MPs endorse report which said he lied. MPs voted by 354 votes to seven to back a report by the privileges committee which found the former MP knowingly misled parliament multiples times over partygate. Monday 19 June 2023 21:58, UK
Bob Seeley made a tit of himself on newsnight just there ... I didn't say kangaroo court... you did, its on iPlayer... embarrassing
Absolutely hilarious. He tried denying it three times until it became obvious they were about to play the clip of him actually saying 'KANGAROO COURT' Sitting there trying to be Mr Cool and ended up humiliated ... ... what a tosser.
To use a turn of phrase from one of Bonko's biggest fan boys, I find it "really rather uplifting" that Parliament has effectively sacked Boris Johnson for lying after he resigned. That is now every job he has ever had, he has been sacked for lying. How the **** did the electorate actually believe anything he said during electioneering and whilst in office? He will be sacked by the Daily Mail in his new job eventually. Bookmark this
Taking the motorhome....hope the weather is as good it looks on your pics. I had a kayak and a sib with outboard, but sold them when we sold the static (Kirkcudbright)....just didn't have the space to keep them at home.
