They all think they are born to rule, sod that Parliamentary procedure. Not only shameful, these lot are dangerous, not only to democracy, or to the economy but to our whole way of life. Vote the bastards out before they completely **** us over.

Labour blocking another left leaning candidate. Daily occurence it seems. They are going to need a new name for the party at this rate.

I prefer this, tbh. They were a horrible party when the left had control under Corbyn with horrendous policies. I feel we will be much better with a party closer to the centre ground.

Woking council effectively bankrupt. Staggering debts. Liberals picking up from the conservatives last year and all about a terrible set of investments in hotels and property by the conservatives. I wonder how many others might be struggling.

Might be true, but you would think a broad set of opinions in a political party is a positive thing. To surround yourself by those who will only be yes men or women is a sure fire way to create an inneffective team. I have seen enough front benches that are all on the same page to last me a lifetime. We need argument and debate and challenge, in order to get to the best outcomes for us the public.

It’s a tough one for me. I’d like more radical policies than is on offer but less ideological lefties. We need a proper change to have an impact and turn things around but less socialist worker / momentum knob heads.

The trouble with that approach is that it never happens in politics. It's always scheming ****ers trying to obliterate everyone else. Corbyn's lot tried exactly the same when they were in charge. There's nobody hates Labour more than Labour.

While we say it never happens in politics, it will continue to never happen in politics, and we will keep getting less effective governments than we nèed.

Hold the front page. Boris had a friend to stay at Chequers in lockdown. I would never have guessed. Helping plan the wedding, was that on the list of allowable exemptions he had for himself?

It's got nothing to do with what we say. It's to do with blindly voting red or blue that allows them to ignore us and fight their internal battles.

My point was if we just accept it never happens, nothing will change. If we want politicians to behave better we need to push for it. The Labour grassroots are unhappy about how the parliamentary party is behaving. They have a powerful voice to demand better.

I think the Labour grassroots are crackpots. As are the Tory grassroots. They've both become completely deranged since 2016.

A pox on the lot of them. Time for normal people to demand better.

No, it's being claimed that the woman was there for child care as Mrs Johnson was pregnant <laugh>

    What a truly pathetic excuse.

Presumably the need to break Covid restrictions was totally unavoidable but Mrs Johnson only needed the one night of childcare from a woman who lived fifty miles away. No doubt it was the nanny's night off and there were no other staff at Chequers.

But tbf the poor Mrs Johnson was pregnant on that day May 7th, eventually giving birth eight months later ...

... or 'missing a period' as it's more commonly known <doh>

    Rent free.

Aren't we still waiting on the proof for other Chequers gatherings?

I see Starmers pal, Mr Just Stop Oil, was marching with his protestors in London today. Apparrently cheering on those who refused to follow police orders and were arrested. I wonder if Starmer rejects any future donations to his cause from this bloke? Looking at the donations flooding in he can afford to stand by his principles, unless those have changed like his pledges have.

One party accepting donations from a bloke who wants to stops the planet from being destroyed by climate change. The other party been accepting donations for years from Russians who wage illegal wars and war crimes. Which one gets the worst press I wonder….
