Personally, I think if she's entitled under the rules to claim such things on expenses then she can fill her boots. I just think that when people are being criticised for something, it's important to make clear what they're being criticised for. In this case, it wasn't that she claimed the cost of the earbuds that she was being criticised for but the perceived hypocrisy after she'd effectively criticised other people for claiming things on expenses. To suggest that the criticism was for the former is misinformation. The Johnson legal fees thing is a different matter. If he's not happy with the tax-payer funded legal team that he's been assigned then he should be paying for the legal representatives that her prefers.

I think the thread title is a little misleading. It has evolved into more of a general politics discussion than a specifically Johnson-focused debate. If you want Johnson-bashing, I think that's a different website.
