I think you're absolutely right about the emerging generation of politicians. As I've said many times previously, I don't see myself as being aligned with any party. What I want to see are three (preferably more) parties that I can respect. I won't be voting Conservative at the next general election but the attitude of some people within the Labour party and of a lot of their 'supporters' towards the Conservatives is pushing me away from Labour too.
More 'charisma' from Boris Johnson ... ... reported to the police again No doubt some cranks will automatically leap to his defence as always. "It was clearly a work event ... with various people not involved with any work and loads of drinks but definitely work." Boris Johnson has been referred to police by the Cabinet Office over further potential rule breaches during the Covid pandemic. The department said it made the referral after a review of documents ahead of the Covid public inquiry. The former prime minister, who was fined last year for breaking Covid rules in 2020, denies any wrongdoing. The Metropolitan Police said it was assessing information it had received from the Cabinet Office last week. Mr Johnson has also been referred to Thames Valley police because his ministerial diary revealed visits by family and friends to Chequers - the prime minister's country house in Buckinghamshire - during the pandemic.
Nah, don't believe it, all the old cons, going on and on about whataboutism or they are all alike. Its cos the cons have had the worst 13 years in history and those that voted them in are just obfuscating as its their fault voting them in.
It does mate. The difference is labour supporters dont see it. They have a "mirror mirror on the wall" complex. Tory supporters have largely given up in my experience. The party has imploded, and sensible conservatives, who have some decent values, are completely marginalised. Labour supporters seem completely blind to the way their party is going. They are virtually replacing the conservative party, and Starmer is openly saying he has no qualms about it. Labour and Conservative, peas from the same pod iny opinion.
I would take the Labour approach. Say we werent there, then when proof emerges say oh yeah sorry we forgot we were there
Obviously couldn’t of stole from his family, they were never poor, another “socialist “ spouting from his ivory towers
What a surprise. You're quite happy to allow your little chums to regularly brand certain posters as racist which is quite a serious accusation. And no surprise that they immediately backtrack, post lame excuses and don't stand up for what they've said. Says it all.
Welcome back Smug lad, nice to see you didn't let that one lie... Unless this is saff who somehow managed to post as you saying he was off. Complete saddo
It's laughable how transparent these clowns are. Go running to teacher, get me banned then pretend they knew nothing ... gutless. Then, despite hardly ever posting on football threads, go straight on trying to be 'one of the lads' ... ... pathetic and totally predictable.
Totally agree marra, and as per my Why has Smug been banned thread, a lot of posters on here agree with you
Just as these two cowards always do I posted in exactly the same faux 'vague' manner. I didn't quote anyone directly or mention them ... ... just put it out as an 'if the cap fits' kind of way. Obviously hit a few nerves
I noticed the premier saddos turned up, all high and mighty, including the saddo who keeps offering to do a poll. They angled at replacing the tired Mods to freshen this place up... and our two cowards quickly put their names in the hat. You couldn't make this up if you tried. Pathetic
I rarely look at that board but, even if it's a year later, there's always the same sad bunch trotting out the same tired clichés, in jokes and 'hilarious' banter. Most of it seems to be like a boys boarding school with endless 'homo-insults' aimed at each other and flicking each other with wet towels ... ... when they come over here they have to come in pairs so they have someone's hand to hold
