Imagine being so intellectually limited you think that all criticism of anyone that's a woman is misogyny.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned after your post...I've not read past it yet, just catching up on threads.
Yagers has now closed down, around Christmas time I think. Their saveloy dips, and hot pork & stuffing stotties were things of beauty.
Fosters (the bakers) in leadgate and Consett also gone...

That was my point. You go on, relax a bit, do a bit of gentle mickey taking at your own and the opposition's expense. Christ it's like shooting fish in a barrel at the minute.

All she can do is angry northerner by the looks of it though. Plenty of Tories have gone on there and come across much better. Somehow.

I'm still not sure what you're saying here. What you're showing is multiple sources of income, most of which is donations to her campaigns. Surely that's very different ethically compared to earning a second income that you just so happen to be lobbying for in parliament or claiming massive expenses?

I see Zahawi has been sacked. Amazing really considering Rishi Sunak said there were no questions to be answer.

This government not too long ago thought it was acceptable for this man to be running the finances of the whole country and it turns out, he can't even manage his own without ripping us off. It's probably not even in the top 10 scandals of this government since the last election though sadly.

So you think “donations” and second incomes are treated differently by Angela?
What I’m saying is she’s like the majority of the hypocrites down at Westminster, all for themselves, greedy bastards, obviously the mp salary of £84000 is not enough for this “working class lass”

I'm saying that they are obviously very different things. Do you think everyone who runs for office should run their campaign completely at their own expense?

That explains why when I try to check '2nd Income' for her not much comes up.
She will obviously want to bring in campaign funds for herself and the Labour Party! Which have to declared anyhow.

Not really a 2nd Income, so comparisons with those that have large 2nd incomes not valid?

The current Government ministers are currently operating under the principle of 'guilty until proven innocent' <doh>

Fair enough, you don't believe any politician. But there are those with larger second incomes who actively lobby in parliament on behalf of their employers. There are those getting much larger donations, some from people with pro-Russia/China interests. There are those who have questionable tax statuses. But you've singled out the "working class lass" from the North who is labour. I guess you have your reasons.

I agree, the default position should be guilty and they could then go on and prove they are innocent. Would leave very few of them, probably be unable to form a cabinet....I think you are onto something there mate <laugh>

I am not up to speed on the income stuff. I do find her one of the less likeable politicians though, and I would have really hoped to have liked her more actually. I have never been convinced there is much in the way of ideas, policy and long term plans. I also suspect the angst between her and Starmer rumbles on. Labour are heading for power, they simply have to keep their mouths shut. The problem is when they do talk I dont see a Labour party that I recognise and want, and I have been a supporter forever. I really do think our political party system is broken beyond repair. For 30 years we have had parties that have just kept the downward spiral going. When will we ever, as a population, say enough is enough, we deserve better. The current bunch really arent worse than what has gone before, Blair and his lot were awful, and I am afraid rubbish succeeding rubbish is all we will continue to get. Depressing.

They can never just go when they're found out can they or hold their hands up. Gavin Williamson claimed he was only resigning in order to concentrate on clearing his name ...

... instead to just crawled away, with the knighthood Boris gave him, and hasn't been heard of again.

    It's pathetic

I EXPECT it marra from the Tories, I’ve singled out her because if you’d read above I’m a Labour voter and the likes of her and many more are detached from old school Labour values, like I’ve said not fit to lick Skinners shoes
