A bit of friendly advice. You should move further away than Scotland. Most of them wont like you or want you there. That's the reason I'm not living there, now.
i keep saying it but people dont want to know... greed is killing the planet. there is no earthly reason for any person to 'need' more money than they can possibly spend, once the self proclaimed lords of the land (none were ever voted into that position) realised that with a bit of muscle behind them they could basically get away with murder every single thing started to go wrong for the common man as they offered us a pittance to make them rich while they ran about the country doing nothing.
And still do, the bastards. I always laugh when they all go on holiday. Nothing changes wether they are there or not. Useless money grabbing twats.
Saying it and doing it are two different things. She's just another Patel who promised to send in the Navy, repatriate people to France and send others to Rwanda ... ... so far she's done absolutely nothing.
Rishi. 4% off tax in 7 years . Sounds great. £40 k salary , app. £1100 p.a. better off £20 k salary. app. £300 p.a. £15 k salary. app. £100 p.a. Should win the vote of the 160.000 , not so sure of an election though
Spot on. The maddest thing is the poor bastards voted for the rich bastards in the last election. Because they shared a hatred of foreign people and foreign looking people. Now they are poorer but blaming the same people.
Bonko's "levelling up" really meant "levelling down" in everyone taking a real terms pay cut by not getting pay rises in line with inflation. So, we all gradually get less and less for our wages in a desperate "race to the bottom" until everybody but the super rich have nowt.
By all you don’t mean Tory donors, shareholder and CEO’s. By all you mean those below the highest tax threshold. The evidence is that those above have been handsomely rewarded by the cabinet of millionaires.
Of course, government by millionaires FOR millionaires. Let the rest "eat cake" as Marie Antoinette said, allegedly.
Country is on its knees because of the greedy Tory overloads, constantly ****ing it up. Few people go on strike for a decent wage and everything is their fault. We need a party in power that looks out for the good of everyone. As long as cuckolds keep voting for ex public school boys to keep them in their place, telling them they should be grateful for a few crumbs from the top table we are stuffed. Sick of hearing people arguing for a race to the bottom. Instead of wanting better for themselves they want to take away from others. Selfish and jealous world.
honestly this is not a race thing or a gay pride thing or any other 'agenda' we keep hearing about in the media...this is a people thing and the sooner that the different races/colours/religions/sexuality/a.n.other group start working together instead of against each other we might get somewhere. those at the top are a closed loop of 'you will go to a certain school and you will be trained for and given a top job, based purely on which school you attended'...easy when they have us arguing over every other group (ask why the death of a man in america became such a global movement, ask why osama bin laden had to be made into public enemy number one despite him keeping a lot in check) do not just jump on the latest bandwagon, ask why it is happening first, ask why common law (the actual law of this land) is being ignored for maritime law, learn the difference between legal and lawful, we are taught in our basic schools to accept what we are told and to answer questions not ask them.
Nothing against people going on strike for a fair wage, however was having a conversation with a postie I know who was telling me he is on £12 an hour but there has been rumours the are thinking of going on strike for more money, I'm sorry but what skills does a postie have other than being able to put one foot in front of the other to do his job, why do they think they are worth more than a minimum wage worker who works for a small business just because they have a union behind them. Unions were originally started to stop people being exploited not getting higher wages because they have strike action as a weapon. I wouldn't have a problem with doctors and nurses striking because they are overworked and under paid and there are other industries similar that I can understand
Yeah, that's a fair comment. For what it's worth, I don't think her or Sunak are suitable to run a country. I thought folk had been sent to Rwanda? Not sure because I haven't been keeping up with much of the news. To answer you, the only thing I'd say is that the Tories know they're looking down the barrel and are on course to lose the next election. If they don't keep to their promises, whoever gets in, that will be the final nail in the coffin and I'm sure they're well aware of that. The damage is probably already done, though.
This, and I'll add the timing of these strikes are bad. Some of them are clearly just jumping on the bandwagon. Like the train drivers who were already pulling a good wage.
We made a big announcement, signed a deal with Rwanda, chartered a plane, paid a quarter of a million and no one was on the flight ... .... total humiliation.
The only issue is when 12 quid an hour effectively becomes 8quid an hour because of inflation. We can’t have people staying on the same wages year on year as everything costs more or it’s a route to poverty. That what many have done and why enoughs enough. Of course of they expect to get inflation down there has to be a balance but generally once it’s up it stays up. I hear what you’re saying that there are more deserving but no one deserves poverty and this inflation is poverty inducing for many.
