Have to say I agree with this https://www.instagram.com/reel/CggkU-LoPh-/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

his Tory Party is dreadful mind and I include the members - but then Starmer sacks someone for backing them. I’m voting Green unless they get a backbone. It needs policy more radical than Tory lite. People are on their arse and the money’s there in the bank accounts of the most wealthy. It’s as simple as that. Time for things to change . Enough is enough.

I don't even know where to start with this situation. Truss talking about cracking down on trade unions is scary leap to the right and it should be shouted down by every person in this country with a voice. The way the Tories have acted in this whole situation is disgusting. They've essentially reneged on their moral authority as leaders so that they can twist the narrative and turn the public against the workers. It's shameless and manipulative.

Not voting for Labour is essentially the same as voting for the Tories in most parts of this country, so it should be an easy decision to vote Labour and remove this government before it turns towards tyranny.

That being said, I'm ashamed of the response from Starmer on this. If Labour doesn't exist to defend the rights of workers in this country, then what's the f*cking point of them?

I might find myself in the non voting category as well.

I generally agree but if the Greens back universal basic income, a change to the voting system, planet friendly policies, better salaries they deserve a vote rather than pale blue

I think the ballot paper should have a “ I believe I should excercise my vote , but I don’t want to vote for any of these” box on it . I bet it would be a landslide

For certain it would. Parties just need to be more honest and use plain english. The media have a big part to play mind because the repeated lies leave people wondering what the hell is really going on.

TBF he wasn't sacked for just the picket line issue. Event though it was agreed that all front bench Mps would not cause a scene and invite press scrutiny. He was sacked for making up policy, live on sky news without approval. Can not run your mouth like that. It's not the Corbyn days.

Absolutely. Not sure what he was playing at. Some of his comments on TV were silly and would be ripped apart in proper debate.

I don't like unions. They're starting to cause problems again for the country at a time when everybody should be going to work as the country is struggling.

We need another Maggie Thatcher to put the toe-rags back in their box.

Any opinion from a Labour MP on how to run the country is making up policy at the moment, because Starmer doesn't seem to have any.

Booking meetings with the press to highlight himself in that position is a bit out of order though.

I would have had much more respect for him if he had resigned from the Shadow cabinet and then did what he did.

If you are a member of the Shadow cabinet you are mandated by the collective decisions that are made in cabinet.

This is Liz Truss who made a speech promoting the end of the monarchy at a Lib Dem conference. She’s a transformer where there’s power to be had. I liked her old self better mind.
