Picanninies with watermelon smiles, letter boxes, bum boys, disrespecting the rule of law, human rights I’d say it’s entirely fair by the definition of extremism

I do think the anti semitic brand of Corbynism was a stench well away from the Labour Party, the obsessive cult of that bit of Labour is well rid. Policy by policy I’d have that election pledge ahead of this one though. **** sandwich? Definitely which is why i went green. Still no excuse for supporting elitist wealth retaining xenophobics. People who voted Tory to avoid Corbynism though ****e in their own lunch. Can’t see much I disagree with in this

He latched onto the fact that many people dream of times past when England ruled the waves, the sun never set on the Empire and everything was measured in pounds and ounces.

That appeals to people who don't like foreigners and think themselves superior ...

... that's fine, sadly we're not the power we once were and starting to look a little isolated imo..

England ruled the slaves. I’m not one for unruly crowds tearing down statues, but nor am I one for justifying the slave trade. Many seem to have landed in the latter. How ?

The same Tories who are now 'appalled' by Johnson's lying are the same ones who ignored his lies when he helped them win their seats.

Now he looks like he would help them lose that seat they think he lacks integrity ...

... what a bunch of pox infested hypocrites.

But like your stance, couldn’t support a British hating,IRA,Hamas loving champagne socialist

Boris wants to stay in charge until his wedding. It’d be shame to spoil his wedding for the sake of easing poverty and hunger.

I think we'll need to see some workings out for the idea that the next PM will instantly ease poverty and hunger.

As predicted, today's hysterics will be over Johnson following convention.....

This is going to be like Trump. Gone, finished, irrelevant, but still living rent free in his opposition's heads.

People rarely mention Trump because they became sick of all the ridiculous posturing.

I think the same will happen with Johnson although there'll be some Mag-style history rewriting from his apologists.

I said at the start that some people seem to have an illogical crush on the man, they had no idea what he stood for ... just loved his 'character'.
