The last few days have shown what a set of two faced feckers ALL politicians are. They make car salesmen look honourable.
The fun continues. I wonder if he's going to be left in a completely empty Downing Street before he gets the message.
A piece of light amusement for you all to consider. Most of us are convinced that most Politicians will lie to us as a matter of course. We even expect it, and they rarely show any remorse about it. BUT, when THEY are lied to, in The House of Commons, they get their collective knickers in a right old twist. It seem that THEY don't like it when THEY are the ones being lied to. Welcome to the club.
Boris Johnson reminds me of myself ... ... when I come back from IKEA. Dishevelled, confused and no chance of putting a cabinet together
Sky reporting that he's off. I'm betting he won't stay on even though it's the convention, so we'll get a look at Raab. I hope we're not back here in a year reminiscing about the good old days.
I doubt it mate, in reality how many good days have we had. It's all been a sham from the start ... ... I just wish he was still hiding in that fridge.
True, but some of those lining up to replace him are genuine crackpots. You can influence an idiot, but not a psychopath.
It all reminds me of di Canio at SJP ... ... everyone allowed themselves to be carried away with the hype. When reality set in it all looked a bit daft. I just hope he doesn't stand at the resignation podium and trot out 'I got Brexit done, I beat Covid, I saved Ukraine, etc etc etc.'
There are some decent people like the Armed Forces Minister, James Heappey ... ... steady, decent and doesn't have any ambitions to be PM.
True. The system can't get them to the top fast enough though. Same on the other side, just with a different personality profile. The lack of talent across Westminster is embarrassing. Good, decent, intelligent and competent people need not apply.
That’s fair enough but it’s a pm we need and the ones that will apply are exactly what PRS mentioned.
