I agree with you completely, but specifically on the subject of the pissed off people coming to league games, but not to a cup game. Almost half of our season ticket holders didn't take up their option of buying a ticket for this game, they've already paid to watch all the league games, the cup games are the ones where they have an option of no longer spending if they don't want to. I'm obviously not suggesting that 50% of season ticket holders didn't buy a ticket as a sign of protest, but I know that some have.
Harry Redknapp's Dog ‏@harrytaxdog @david_conn I can assure you the money has been very wisely spent.
100% agree. My mates who have had passes for years are going Sunday but not usually interested at all in cup games. I just dont get it, I know teams play 2nd string players etc in the early rounds but lets face it we are never going to win the Prem. The cups are the competitions we could compete in and this year more so than ever. Sitting at home shouting at the tv or in a pub isnt going to get behind the team. you can be sure 4000 in the North Stand will be loud and proud I'm afraid and could just make the difference. I hope I'm wrong! I'd love to see City at Wembley in the cup..
Good post. I will watch it at home and hope City win. I won't be at wembley and do not expect to be as I havent attended any of the cup games. For the first year in 10 years I have not bought a season pass. Mostly, this is down to financial pressures but also the matchday experience is s***e (I agree with you) and i refuse to line Allams pockets with the way he treats the fans. I agree it is how you decide to spend your money but for a lot of people on short time or zero hours contracts £20 is a lot of money.
