Doyle's a good player doesn't get the amount of goals he should but that is partly down to how Wolves operate him. Same goes for Elmander too, I'm frothing at the mouth of the thought of Gervinho he looked top class in the world cup and if the quoted 10 mil is correct then that is a massive bargain!
 
Elmander will be 30 then, bit old for me especially a he's only had one good season. Wouldnt mind Doyle but not as our main striker. More ambition please.

Agree with this, although I like Doyle, a very hard-worker and a fine player on his day.
 
We should go all out for Connor Whickam, he is Englands best young prospect. Offer him first team football, good wages and the number 9 shirt. 'Ambition' is the word...
 
Elmander on a free and Gervinho for somewhere around 10m = good business?
Wouldn't mind Elmander on a free. Think he's a pretty decent player.
 
I just unloaded Elmander from my fantasy league team, he was doing well when Bolton were in form, but ever since the 5-1 thrashing of us they've disappeared, Johan especially. I really don't see him as the kind of player who can carry a team when they're having a bad game, nor is he getting any younger.
 
Both are ****. Doyle was good at Reading but has done nothing since. Elmander is just complete crap!

He's done nothing since he moved to Bolton, all he's had is a purple patch at the beginning of this season and that's it.
 
Elmanders to old but i'd take Doyle at the right price. he's good at holding up the ball and bringing other players into the game which is the sort of thing we need. Problem is when weasels suffer there inevitable relegation at the end of this season there are gonna be several clubs after him so we'd probably have to outbid them which isn't what we're after
 
Why do people think we are going to get Gervinho he'll go to a Champions League club, mind you I have been wrong before with players like Ben Arfa and Muntari going to the mackems.
