And no he didn't, but it's quite obvious that he means Downing and Enrique. Also his earlier comments about their having a few months to prove themselves was directed at those two. Enrique's been injured and possibly overplayed for a year, so that leaves Downing knowing, and the rest of us knowing that it means him.

So by saying WE were lazy (because a lot of our players weren't lazy) he means Downing and a couple others. Like everyone else has said, **** him. He should leave, he hasn't been good enough and these comments don't help. I am just worried about the clubs reputation to future players. I don't want anyone thinking that we leave our players out to dry in the media. Even if we don't, Downing's comments make it seem like we do.

a little man, but mainly what is used on the field. Played with a host of serbians, croatians when I was playing in Vermont so had to learn some of it as you do! Forgive my spelling but legea (sp) - robber, dobra lopti ( good ball), brau-bravo -good, pivo - <cheers> , jebem ti, kuracs ( sp), and something with droogie or something but can't remember what it meant.

Some top nights out with those lads. <ok>

On one hand, Downing's game has suffered because we rarely pile men into the box, and we don't have a front man with the movement or positioning of Bent, so his crosses generally sail to nobody.

On the other hand, his game has suffered because he's **** and can;t even dribble past a mediocre full-back.

He revealed his hand.
Everybody now knows he is desperate to get rid. Downing is rocking the boat now because of the way Rodgers handled it publicly, which will further drive the price down.
