Yep! Rather have him at the club that jimmy mac, that's who he would replace, then we could send him out on loan to cover some of downing a wages, simple.
I dont mind Downing and would certainly take him for £5, and if we were still under O'Neil I'd say it was a certainty. I cant however see Di Canio going for him, as mentioned previously he doesnt fit into his style of play.
