We gave ´em a run for their money
More than they´d expected, maybe,
But the day could have ended more sunny
Had Pilks buried that chance for free

But what a great show which again proves
What Lambert´s been saying, is right,
We weren´t undone by that many moves
And we look at home in this top flight

We knew that the pressure at some time
Would come from them for a long spell,
And although it came, we still looked fine
And were only sunk right at the bell

At times they looked almost quite human
Which was down to the work we put in,
So everyone here should feel bloomin´
A defeat which felt half like a win

For 0-2 there, in that arena
Is much more than most will achieve,
Where they´ve taken some to the cleaners
And spared them no kind of reprieve

So although we lost, as expected
The scoreline was long in some doubt,
And defeat finally, we accepted
And went down, but we´re definitely not out. OTBC

Have a good week all, here´s hoping for an injury-free International break

Yours,
