Hi it's been a while may even be a year or two since my last posting . In that time we have had Powell,Rigga,Peeters,Mathews and Luzon and we are no better off. The rudderless ship HMS Charlton continues its journey to sail into oblivion . The Roland Nutthuggers seem to of disaspeared for a while ,well I least until we get a positive result or two then they will be back on board.all over Twitter fan boards etc spreading their pornographic network filth.telling us the future is bright under the Belgians. I couldn't careless about Luzon who cares stay go ,stick, twist pick n mix he's just part of the big rotten ostrich Egg that is stinking out south London AKA CAFC. Man the lifeboats we are # # # # # # see you at Plymouth.
Second what AH says. Another longstanding CAFC fan not buying in to the rubbish. I just wish the rest would hurry up!!
Super - I personally got Mikey back on 'ere following an exchange on Twitter - does that entitle me to become a Global Moderator (9 stars)
What can you say to that 3 0 home to bloody no hopers Preston ...got to be a low surely can't get any lower can it
I'm done I think. It's not worth going to bed pissed off and waking up angry. Why should we care so much when they care so little. There is something horribly wrong at the club and it starts from the top.
Ponders, have you still got that comedy letter from KM about how you'll be back when the RD plan comes to fruition? I think it was maybe doubletalk for when we go down and the season tickets get cheaper. Royston, in the meantime, can pop over to ITTV, where he had his own thread 'Royston's bet', where they mocked him hugely for doubting our leaders, and the talented squad they assembled. I'm just going to sit in a dark room for a bit. There seems Little point in calling for Guy's head, though last night's starting line up would give some of Pardew's more freakish ideas a run for their money. The wisdom that bought in Luzón without bothering to see if there were better options on hand will be in charge of the next manager we sign. And I don't see them going anywhere fast. Standard Liege went to the barricades to remove RD. We're just sliding into apathy and despair. 'You're getting sacked in the morning' got an airing from the covered end last night. Sounds like the louder section of the crowd have'nt noticed the cycle we're in just yet.
What I said earlier this season was that Tony Watt is a bullsh1t artist who, despite his "good start" (hollow laugh) won't score double figures for us this season. His career trajectory has gone Champions League - Belgium - lower Championship for a reason. One of the many things that are wrong at Charlton just now is the way that Watt gives up when we go behind and stops doing the basics. The guy is one lazy fat t0sser.
Ken - Luzon got absolutely slaughtered last night after their 3rd goal. He can't / won't come back from this. Think Les Reed after Wycombe.
What's his motivation to - he's already been told he's safe, and sadly that's probably the only honest thing KM has said since she's been here.
The managerial merry-go-round is just a side show. No-one has any enthusiasm for a change, because we know it'll be deja vu all over again.
I Tweeted Matt Pennycook this morning asking him to start asking questions, fair play to him he replied within 10 mins and has said he will. He has also retweeted my comments on RD to all of his followers & urged others to get in touch.
Something tells me we haven't reached our nadir yet, Ken, and I've now decided to attend Saturday's match. I made a promise not to line Roly's pockets, and to only attend away matches, but that need to inch closer to the car crash is proving hard to resist.
I honestly wouldn't bother - I'm not exaggerating when saying I envy those who did not attend last night.
I may have to get involved in your Twitter activities, Vol. Some heavy duty laughs have been had over the last hours.
I bought VOTV last night, and one article made the very good point that it's not just Wham that we've got to compete against. Gillingham are top of L1 (Lennon got a late winner last night), Ebbsfleet are moving up, Bromley could join the football league soon, Margate have a rich ambitious owner and Maidstone are improving fast. Fans who are turned off by our performances will find pastures new, probably nearer home, and won't be easy to get back. Katrien's cheeery optimism about "The Plan" kicking in looks more deluded than I thought.
I have a couple of fairly important meetings today; wish I'd stayed in and had a shave and done my ironing instead...
