Why are we debating a player that is not good enough for Swansea city and who has been told he will no figure in our plans this season? If he was that good surely we would have included him, but clearly he is not.............<ok>

Anyway Ki is in for Leon today and playing well with Shelvey, as I thought he would be. Canas is history, we move on.

We're playing Plymouth, FFS. If they can't get it together in this game, it's never going to happen now is it?

Surely Canas is fit for the role? I was under the impression he wasn't truly one of the rebels anyone, and that once Poz and Michu were gone we could get him back on side.

What is it that Canas did? He played under Monk then got injured I thought? As Cherry said, the rumblings were about Michu and Poz.

The manager who takes over from Monk might like the look of Canas. <cheers>

You must be ****ing joking. Defending, especially tracking his man, was Ki's worst attribute....what the **** were you watching

He wasn't taken on the US tour...he's obviously been told to find himself another club.

    Absolutely.

In order to have a replacement ready for when he's finished we've got to play somebody younger for periods.
Leave it too late to do this and we will have a problem.
We all love Leon and have enjoyed him through all the divisions...that shouldn't make him untouchable.
He gets in on merit now but pretty soon it will be on sentiment...too late then.

When I read all that crap from Monk about how he enjoyed working them harder than they ever had been before the first thing I thought was....he's asking for injuries.

Sods law we got an injury in the position where we don't have adequate cover.

Anyone signed now is not going to be up to speed for that role. It is THE key cog in the team. Canas has been brought along last season and would be perfect but I would bet Monk would pick Tate before he picks Canas.

I think it will be a slow start to the season for us. Van Gaal must be licking his lips at this news.

Check out the game stats today son, you might learn something, Ki will fill in temporary, as for Canas what part about him do you not understand bright eyes, you seem to be in trouble grasping many things of late regarding our Swans team, bless you. As for the obsession with Canas from some on here including your demented self, I simply think he's sub-standard and if our fans think Garry's not picking him because he's a bit of a cock then they are as stupid as you. If he could do a good job for us he'd be in contention, being a cock doesn't help but it's not the single/biggest defining factor, hope you can understand terror old bean!.....<cheers>

    PGF - <laugh>

Dragon - Let me help you. Poyet started with Ki at defensive midfield, he wasn't very good there so he moved him forward where he did much better. Poyet brought in Liam Bridcutt to compliment Lee Cattermole at defensive midfield.

    Poyet on Ki....
“It is still early doors (in terms of his future) and I don't know how expensive he is,” said Poyet. “But we will see. He plays the type of football that I really admire.

“He has the ability to pass the ball with just one touch and change from one side to the other, or run with the ball and have a shot with either foot.

“If he believes that he can do a bit of the work the other way, the defensive way, he is a player who can give us the lot.”

.....and he was the same for us. Commented on by loads of people, lots were getting on his back along with De Guzman....now the same people want him back in our 1st team at defensive midfield <laugh>
You really couldn't make this **** up.

Man you are thick, I've already stated early in this thread that Ki does not like the DM position, but prefers the AM position, but stuff Poyet and Sunderland what's that got to do with our current predicament you ignoramus baboon, your beloved Laudrop put Ki in a DM position when he had to, are you being deliberately stupid or is it just natural!......................<laugh>

Laudrup put Ki next to Leon.
What is thick is the suggestion that we should line up with Shelvey and Ki in midfield offering **** all protection to the defence.

Ignoramus baboon? Is that one of the species Noah put on his ark Phillip?
Go **** yourself dry on the dark net boy.
