Alot of the Championship side need time to come to terms with the hike in standard, most of them won't get the chance now the new boys have come in.Some of them have already been left out of the squad altogether, but the remaining ones will improve with the experience that the new guys bring, they just need time to adjust. When all is said and done football is a confidence game!

Critical as I was of Faurlin pre-season, I thought he was starting to get himself together against Wigan. He was starting to put in some good passes, which hopefully will continue against Newcastle. I'm afraid that Derry will miss out, I can not believe that Barton won't start. The only other option is that Barton plays further forwards. Unlikely, but possible. Barton in the middle with Taarabt and SWP either side, it could work.

If Derry is dropped it will be very hard on out best player so far this season, however it is a squad game, and I'm sure he will be on the field at some point. He probably would have settled for that before the season started.

Me too. Dezza has been better than Faurlin so far. The young lad's still finding his feet at this level.
