Remember years ago at Lincoln we heard loads of running feet on the road behind us. My mate said “ don’t look behind you” … WTF. Course I did. Turns out they where from Hull. Like you are not going to look.
Mrs Two tells me that every time we go food shopping, especially as we're queuing to pay and I'm tidying the chewing gum/sweets display.
Didn't know where to put this really, but all this stuff about people struggling at airports, massive queuing and such. Doesn't anyone see that there are millions who can't afford a holiday, never been on a holiday? And as for queuing, try getting on a ****ing raft to escape a war torn country with the distinct possibility of drowning. All of these things are happening. If I could do something about it I certainly would, but I just don't have the money or the influence. Sorry for the rant.
It's nowhere near as bad as the media is making out, I've flown twice for work recently and was through security etc in less then an hour both times. Also a number of friends have been away recently and they have all said the same, that it isn't as bad as it's being made out to be * Obviously the people who are getting cancelled etc is a different story * Edit - I know that wasn't your point
There's obviously queues, but they are being made out to be much worse then it is and then people panic because of what the media is painting which again makes it worse.... Just look the bog roll shortages during covid etc. If people took your advise ( thread title ) then things would be much better very quickly.
