I'd be absolutely gutted if Gyan went Defoe, N'Zogbia and Hutton would all be good, excellent and good signings respectively and would see us finished pretty much for the summer in terms of incoming players. If we got the 3 and kept Gyan then I'd actually explode!
Can't see this happening, N'zog I would love to see come but just think he's to expensive for our liking. I honestly think all we will see will be Gibson and a loanee striker but if we do get the mentioned players then I think it's crunch time for Bruce. He will have nearly brought in a full team which means Short will have set him high standards with failure not being an option.

Problem is commachio the wee lad loves Gyan, hence his we dance. If he left he would be gutted as he's only getting over Jones leaving.

remember, he may have brought nine in, but how many have gone out: Bent, Henderson, Riveros, Angeleri, Onuoha, Mensah, Muntari, Welbeck ...... and hopefully Nosworthy, McCartney, kilgallen. He needed a decent sized squad this time and he has done it by spending very little of the money that has come in.
It's the same boy with different strips i.e. the Sunderland kit below on the last couple of games. Just look for the white boots, he only turned 7 in April and loved the tournament as he was quite shy and I thought it would bring him out of himself. The grass roots tournament was held once a week from May-June and was some of the best craic I've had for a while watching these wee lads play for the love of the game.
Sorry if this has been mentioned but did anyone hear Mickey Gray tonight when asked about the Zog & Defoe rumours?
