Lets do this. Don't sack Conte. Sack all the cronies and replace with professional football people. Appoint a highly qualified non Russian Director of Football and let him do his job with no interference. Make all new transfers subject to agreement by a committee of D o F, Manager, and Owner. Sell Courtois, Fabregas, Barkley, Drinkwater, Cahill, Pedro and Moses. Give one more year to Morata, Zappacosta and Bakayoko. Replace only with top quality players. Two midfielders, one goalkeeper, one defender. Bring back Michy and Kenedy and play them. Give regular game time to Ampadu and Hudson Odoi. Agree to take 2 years to assess and sort out the squad, and rebuild the team with experience, quality and a blend of youth.. Sign Hazard to long term contract or sell. Sign all core players to long term contracts for stability. Make our motto " Steady progress through patience and hard work"
Yes blame the croonies & oligarch servants for not finishing top 2. But blame ONLY not for finishing above Spuds & Pool I don't know what / why & how some of you talk about Top quality players. We cannot compete against Manchester filthy money bags. We are slightly better than Spuds financially & worse than even Pool / Gooners. How in the hell we are going to sign top quality players? We have (had?) a great recruitment system in place, but managers like Judas & Tony are taking the system for ride (KDB, Salah, Costa et al). Need to hold managers accountable.
We can compete against other Clubs. The Germans and Italians don't pay the ludicrous fees like Barca and Real, Man City, Man Utd and PSG. Nor need we. We have, or rather had, the core of a great team end of last season. We needed 1 defender, one midfielder and 1 striker. Instead we got RAs' multitude of dross midfielders with their salaries, a major downgrade in striker, and none of Contes picks. All down to RA and Marina. That's why Conte is pissed as buggery, and the team is going backwards faster than a getaway car. No quality, no plan, no clue. Courtois wants, out Hazard wants out, Willian wants out, Michy wants out, Real and Bayern are after Alonso, PSG after Kante, Barca after Azpilacueta, everyone after Kenedy. Conte can't make chicken pie out of chicken ****, which is what RA gave him to work with.

nah conte has underachieved boys. Whether it's the players who can't be arsed but we have absolutely no cohesion. We've looked terrible since the new year and he hasn't changed it up one bit. He's underused Giroud and the other midfielders who need a run and he's stubbornly stuck to 3 at the back which has been found out without luiz
i mean we can blame the players and we definitely have bought the wrong personnel but you can't entire exonerate conte and how he's under utilised decent players like giroud and pedro. Hazard and Willian are too the same on the wings, both like to hold it dribble a bit then pass it. By that the time the defences have reset and this isn't helped that we don't have any players who run off the ball, especially towards goal.
Board is not picking the 11. Board isnt subbing players. Tony picked all the wrong 11 every time. Played wrong subs or delayed subs every game until we are 100% secure to miss 4th. Now he makes sub at 60 mins Ffs. Fcuk Tony. Tony is reason for missing 4th simple.
Erm....those subs saved the game for us......did you miss that part? I agree Giroud should have been on from the start though. Were I in charge, Morata would not be starting another game for Chelsea, at least not in this current team as it is. (Well we wouldnt have even signed Morata, but thats by the by).
He ensured the subs or results going to make any difference then makes them nice & early. You missed it alright. Until 3 months ago Alvaro was the next best thing. He was better than Lukaku & Kane. Then came the Jan window and Tony downed everything. How can you say Giroux over Morata at this point of season. I would play Alvaro, Baka and few other kids in all the remaining dead rubbers. Cos they are future. Results are meaningless now.
