Ah Cotswold...big game with Spurs today. Lets see how you do shall we? Had it down as a 2-0 defeat, ended 3-0. Not happy with the defeat, but the McGoldrick situation is an absolute nightmare. Still, 5 points off the playoffs with Reading losing, so bring on Birmingham next Saturday.
It was all very touching, I was a bit disappointed in Welly wishing him luck today though, but I guess if he hadn't he would been on the couch.!
You're a top bloke too welly, you know the difference between banter and wumming! ( And you give rep! )
Norwich hammered Spurs 1-0 with a drubbing that will be remembered by fans of both clubs for many years to come. Early reports that the match will be available from the Canary store on DVD and BluRay are unconfirmed. There will be a one minute silence in North London this evening as fans struggle to come to terms with quite how such a comprehensive thrashing could have taken place. Elsewhere Newcastle scraped a 1-0 win over Villa in a game that will be forgotten by tomorrow lunchtime. It's all about perspective.
Nobody quite does bitterness quite like the Ipswich fans. You always give good value so thank you for the entertainment once again.
I'm loath to dish out neg rep, but I can see one or two of our ****s getting some in the not too distant future...
... Nugent has missed a number of sitters recently ... particularly in our draws with Watford and Forest ... apart from the penalties he is decidedly average in front of goal (he does contribute otherwise mind) ... but it seems he can only become a lethal striker against you boys and Watford ... he's unlikely to cut it in the Prem so perhaps we'll sell him to you guys in the summer think about it ... he can't score against you and will guarantee you goals against Watford ????
Fosse Nuge is probably the most clinical striker Ipswich have ever seen In all seriousness for Ipswich you making progress but it's slow progress. Just have to take the odd bump and keep looking forwards at the bigger picture. Nigel had to do the same here but he had a lot of money to spend to bring in his own men and speed up the the rebuilding process Good luck for the rest of the season
"...he's unlikely to cut it in the Prem so perhaps we'll sell him to you guys in the summer think about it ... he can't score against you and will guarantee you goals" That's actually a very good point. We could buy him, then shoot him (OK, put him on the bench) and guarantee ourselves 2 games per reason where he can't score against us.
