place lavendar drops in a bowl of hot water , not a lot of water. plenty of oil, though. and breathe over the tincture , also apply directly to your nostrils , and or to a hanky , japanese oil, and or eucalyptus oil directly. both available from Holland & Barrett. 2 days your signs will be gone.

fortunately i rarely get colds or flu but when i do i swear by hot milk with a good slug of rum or brandy and 2 paracetamol just before bed, you sweat like hell and sleep like a baby but it works for me most of the time, the other thing that i find helps is to go for a good session in a steam room at the gym which clears the head big time <cool>

Selenium supplements, gives the immune system a kick, have been taking them since '98 had about 3 colds since plus the odd 24 hour sniffles.

    I don't believe it!
I slept the day away (thanks to the rum)
my head is now clear, OK so I have a sniffle, I can live with that!
I wrapped myself in a 15tog quilt and drank plenty of fluids.
I sweated the cold out of me.
OK my bedding is sticking to me, but that can be changed.
would I do it again? YES. This morning I felt like death warmed up, but now I feel fantastic.

I remember driving to work one morning, listen to the Noel Edmonds Radio one breakfast show, he asked people to ring in with the cold remedies, and this guy rang in saying 8 pints of Hull Brewery mild sorted him out.

Google Oreganol P73. This is what I use and it's amazing stuff. Just hold 2 drops under your tongue
For 3-4 mins before swishing around your mouth and swallowing. Also, avoid sugar.
    Hope this helps.

Next week on 'Survival with Patty', he explains why you should not brush your teeth with an electric carving knife.

His parents really shouldn't leave him unattended. Leaving the liquer cabinet unlocked was another mistake.

    Raw garlic!
It's pretty nasty, but chew it up and just swallow it down with some H2O <wizard>
    Make wonders :)
