I am worked up and cross, sorry Col...but practically the only thing he had to do was get it up field and let the big guys fight it out and he didn't even do that...(probably as excited and upset as I am)
But in the original [post I did say he saved us from going 3-1 down

Hi Swords - the return of the wanderer? Actually before finding the Ustream of our game, I was listening to West Ham v Fulham on BBC London 94.9 and it sounded like in the early part of that match that Taarabt was really influencing the play for Fulham (played 90 min) - I realise they ended up losing 3-0, which could be almost one of the final nails in the coffin for Marin Jol (he indicated yesterday that Fulham had to get something out of their upcoming two London derbies - West Ham & Spurs on Wed, or his days could be numbered).
I am a bit embarrassed to admit, that based on the way we were playing at 80 mins, I put a $1 token wager on Donny to win @ 12/1 rather than us @ 3/1 (just assumed we would win and I would be happy to lose a buck).
God Kilburn that was very shrewd......not something I would necessarily admit too, but very shrewd.....
As others have been saying, a bad day at the office doesn't necesarily mean that we are carp and we'll drop down the league like a stone......Get 3 points on Tuesday (no foregone conclusion) and things will look ok.....we are 3rd level on points with 2nd and 4 points clear of 4th, something i would have taken if offered at start of season.
Let me tell you, I would have been so happy to lose the buck - kind of reverse psychology approach, that didn't work for us!
I've calmed down now, watching the Newcastle v WBA game, hoping to see Remy notch up a few goals, since we don't seem to be able to score much these days (want to see more like that Charlie Austin cracker that I witnessed at Loftus Road last Sat).
I made myself a rare roast beef sandwich with Coleman's English mustard on German rye bread accompanied by a good local hoppy beer and a "Black Bush" Irish whiskey chaser to sip on (highly recommended by the Irish R's) - one my kids just told my wife - "Daddy's turned into an alcoholic".
I think I deserve it after enduring our game, before that putting in several hours of chores, bringing 3 loads of old, broken appliances, TV's, sofas to the dump in our mini-van with the seats out.

Bare bones is when you only have 11 fit players not 18, 19 or 20......and then we send others out on loan, if it is so bad bring them back.....anyone know what has happened to Chevvy, has he departed, is he injured or just being ignored?

I fear that is the fate of every QPR supporter, but especially those that associate with the Irish R's
I think he left as he wasnt happy not getting played despite us being awful going forward, he wasnt in the EDS squad so to me that's the only logical conclusion.
I bet every outfield player on the bench would have gone straight into the Donny 1st eleven too.
I'm with you Tramore, I saw the genuine bare bones today - my lad's colts rugby team has 16 out of a squad of 31 out injured and can only field 3 proper forwards. The whole front row is out for at least another 2 months. Played and lost against a very good team (unbeaten this season) today, but heads were high the whole game, with some outstanding defence and massive hits, and the opposition coaches reckoned we were the best they had played so far. Of course even more frustrating knowing we were missing so much quality.
