Some comments from Tranmere fans after he was recalled by WBA last season
For me he was a solid enough defender but he really needs to work on his ball-playing / distribution.
Toblerone boots spring to mind. When you get an EPL man in you expect a bit of extra quality in that department.
Was ok, some blamed him for some of our defending problems but was more due to poor overall team defending.
Started off quite well but looked more and more shaky until he had to be dropped.He is a long way off being a prem player at the minute but there is some potential there.
A player our fans jumped on to slate, wouldn't surprise me at all if he went on to do very well, believe a few big clubs were looking at him last summer so he can't be bad as some as our fans thought.

Perhaps we will play him in that role. We are good at putting people in the wrong positions
With Adam Barrett, Leon Legge, Callum Davies and Donervon Daniels at the club we now have four centre backs for two positions on the pitch, I know we have got Devante McKain waiting in the wings as well but I think we will be looking to send Devante McKain out on loan to get some experience.
I would not be surprised if we looked to sign a left back to provide cover and competition to Joe Martin in the coming weeks as well as Peter Taylor is looking to have two players for every position on the pitch.
I think Donervon Daniels will start tonight, Leon Legge will win the ball in the air all day long but his distribution and control of the ball was very questionable on Saturday against Oldham Athletic.
