Because the prick is ****ting himself there will be a coup should Longmuir's plan go ahead. And if he gets ousted Regan's position becomes very shaky too.

The SPL plans pish ...

But so is the SFL's

A 16 team league will never work unless it two games a season - home and away. If your going down twice a season route, it should be a 18 team league!

Get rid of any splits! They're ****in rubbish!

Two full time leagues of 10 with a 1 up/1 down and a 9th v 2nd play off for League 1 and two down/ two up via play off for League 2

Rest, split into regionlised part time leagues including highland league and juniors if possible... playing for play off places!

Would you not prefer to play a team twice a season instead of 4 +?

Yeah, in terms of watching (on TV of course), then yeah ... but there is no way teams can afford to only 1 home game a season v their rivals or either of Celtic or Rangers ...

Look at Aberdeen ... 18k v Celtic!
Rangers - selling out away grounds!
Hearts v Hibs would lose out.
Dundee Derby!

Then you have the Celtic v Rangers games back ... massive sell outs!

Does the SFL system not propose a split and 3 games a season - ****ing rubbish!
